POSITION: CASUAL PET SITTERS
Job Description
Using your own car (not bike in case pets need to got to a vet) to visit domestic pets, all sizes and breeds, at their own home when parents are at work or away
Areas Covered
Morningside is our base - areas include West End to Wynnum, North to New Farm, South to Holland Park
Duties
Visiting pets to feed, change water, collect droppings, clean kitty litter, medicate when required, cuddles and company and walk dogs when required
General home security - locking up, collecting bins in/out, collecting mail, water plants. Jobs can be one day to several weeks, visiting daily
Meeting with new potential parents (clients) and their pets
Criteria for the position
- Resident of Australia
- 25+ years old, active and fit - seniors most welcome
- Own reliable transport (car)
- Available 6.00am - 6.00pm. Able to work 2 weekends per month
- School holidays, Easter and Christmas including Dec 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 Dec - 2 Jan for at least 3 hours daily
- Enjoy being around domestic pets
- Kind and patient
- Understand basic dog commands and how to walk a dog properly
- Fit and reliable - able to walk, bend, lift pets and not have allergic reactions to pets
- Trustworthy - successful applicants will have to provide a current police check
- Clean and tidy
- Preference for people who live in the areas we cover
We would like people with a high work ethic "get in and do the job" attitude. We provide a high level of service for our pets and for our parents. They have come to expect this from 'furry kids at home' over the past 5 years.
Be prepared to do ongoing training to further your education in the pet industry. Most successful casual person will be given part time employment with full benefits.

Remuneration
Position pays $20.00 per hour into a nominated Bank Account fortnightly
