Brisbane Pet Sitting – KENOBI the Cattle Dog
KENOBI the Red Cattle Dog lives in Morningside with His Mum. FurryKid@Home visit him daily when his Mum is away for work. We feed, brush, give him company, sometimes go for a walk and have a great Play with Him. We also collect the mail, pick up fresh droppings and change a light about inside His Mum’s home for Security. He’s a great Boy and absolutely loves playing fetch KENOBI is an out side Dog, sleeps under the house in a nice protected area and has a great coat for cold nights.
KENOBI isnt a greedy boy…you can serve him his bowl of Kibble and He eats when he is Hunry..Maybe it’s his working dog instints! needs a big game of fetch with his selection of balls or a walk.  He is a lovely boy with a great temperent once he meets you…He likes to protect his home! and is very well mannered!
We have a lot of fun when we visit him.
He absolutely Loves his Ball…and will play all dayif you give him the chance!!
MICKEY the Bichon Maltese X
MICKEY has just been collected and has gone home after a 3 week holiday at Furrykids@Home.
His Elderly Parent- Les , 92 years old has been in hospital for the past 3 weeks. Over the last 3 years we often have taken Mickey in when Les has been unwell.
Mickey is a lovely little dog.  House trained with a sweet personality. He enjoys going for walks and is a true companion dog. He is quiet though will bark when a stranger comes to the door.  Mickey was a rescue dog from the RSPCA and has been with Les for approx 6 years. We think Mickey is about 8 years old. Â
 Looks likes Mickey may soon need another forever Home for Les is weak and may need permanent Care.
A few years ago Mickey had to have all his teeth removed so his little pink tounge always pokes out on the left side…makes him look very Cheeky!! Mickey is in great health.  He is up to date with all injections and I apply his monthly flea/ heart control and worm him. He has a selection of T Shirts andndesigner Jumpers I have bought him and a comfy little bed                                                                                                                                                     Â

1st Burthdee party for LOU-LOU
On thursday 23rd Miss LOU-LOU Drew turned ONE and we were very excited that she decided to spend the day with us at Furrykids@Play doggy Day Care. 
Mummy Penny made a huge meat lovers cake with 2 smaller ones. I iced the cakes creating a double mega Meat cake and the third cake “a Star” Lou-Lou took home to have more burthdee cake with her boy pal Jasper.
This One year old loooves to EAT! and sniffs out all the best treats…I guess being a Beagiller …comes with the territory. She also eats the hardest of dental treats in lighening flash time so we do hope the new BUFFALO 40 cm Pizzles kept her busy over the weekend!
LOU-LOU was very keen to move on from the happy snaps and get in to the serious business of polishing of the cake before any other furry kids TM got a look in!  she made a very impressive dent of the icing licking about a quarter off while having her photos!!
Once Best Pal Jasper was invited to the Birthday Table some
mega serious chomping began!!
then back to play time for the rest of the arvo…oh what a lovely first Burthdee!

JASPER is TWO !
JASPER is now Two years old hep hep horray!   Jasper has been apart of
the FurryKids TM Family since he was a young Pup. It wasnt long either before Jasper became one of our Leaders. Jasper is very clever reading doggy body language and playing like the doggy he is getting to know. Very quickly Jasper became every
furry body’s bestest pal!
Jasper is very good at sitting for treats, drop and shaking hands if you click your fingers. He loves chasies and wrestling with the bigger boys - Buddy, Dexter , Twister and when his gal pal comes too Lou-Lou .  He has a soft side too…..just ask Ruby Allen who loves to use Jasper’s body as a soft ‘day bed’ when she wants to have a snooze! He loves tug a war and simply loves to rip apart a soft toy in seconds!!! (this is his nawty side

Jasper loves cuddles and most of all he loves his Mummy Gill. They love to go to the dog park and also spend lots of fun times at the beach.  Jasper always spends his holidays with FurryKids@Home if Mummy Gill goes home to Scotland for a visit.
Today is Jasper’s Mummy Birthday…and that’s what they are doing! playing at Byron and coming home this arvo already for Doggy care on Thursday.  We celeebrated the big day of Jasper’s burthdee with Roo flavoured Bikkies at lunch time…yum!

OOPS! Party in MY PANTS!!
Oh LOUIS…as a puppy you do keep us amused and BUSY!
 Thursday Morning Louis arrived bright and early and was sent out in the yard immediately for his morning ‘Business’  It wa a busy morning and all the doggys were arriving.
 I turned to look at Louis and he had “baby poo” coloured poo across his left eye. Twister’s Mum and I decided his little button nose wanted to get seriously close to some poo….well to close.     Gave him a head shampoo wash and all was well….that’s what i thought.  Wasn’t long until I could smell something truely Nasty! though couldnt see anything supicious! ANYWHERE
Next SNOOPY arrived. His Mummy Cathie loves all the furry kids TM and knows all their names and gives as many a hug as she can!  Cathie requested a cuddled with Louis.  I picked him up under his arm pits and handed him to Cathie.Â
She was telling me a funny story that SNOOP DOG’ had just made avery smelly , big ‘POP’  in the car on the way over…I then said I can top that …and told her about Louis’s pooy left Eye.
Next line Cathie said…..”Well I have POO all over my sweater…and yep! she did and it was spreading!!!
 MASTER LOUIS had done it again…he had pooed in his brown striped sweater and it was now smeared all over Cathie’s beautiful Kermit the Frog Green sweater!! not a pretty image right!….what a mess. We all said our goodbyes very very quickly and Louis went off for a full body shampoo and i guess Cathie went home to do the same!
AND this all happened before 9am when Jenny Arrivied
That sweater is cursed! 
Toilet Training your Puppy

We often find pups who have used the pads don’t distinguish between mats and training pads when they visit somewhere else.  We have always recommended news paper and moved it closer to the door until they then always go out side to wee/ poo when training pups and this has worked for us. Another idea is the Asto turf which is great for puppy’s living in apartments. Have a read and share your thoughts with us.
